2010 Elf Mischief at our house :) Day 5

Today the elves sent the kids on a scavanger hunt that lead them to the story of  Jesus' birth in the bible.

2010 Elf Mischief at our house :) Day 4

This morning the kids awoke to find that Those Crazy Elves had hitched the wagon to one of Eliana's Dogs and ran in circles around our tree to put on all the lights!  Those sure are some BIG bright lights!!  I can hardly believe that PD slept only 4 feet away durring all the comotion of getting those lights on the tree!

Mom had just taken that wagon out of storage yesterday, it hadn't even been dusted yet but those crazy elves were having a great time  in it!

2010 Elf Mischief at our house :) Day 3

The elves worked really hard last night on creating an advent calendar for the kids, they left a note saying they saw that the shoe organizer on mom's closet door looked perfect for the project with its 24 little pouches.  They gathered a few more supplies from the box of sewing trim that Gramma passed on to mommy from Angeline's collection of treasures.

They made number cards using the cute candy cane numbers mom had just downloaded from http://jilldzines.blogspot.com/ and wrapped a few gifts to add some color.

They left a note telling the kids that they would be adding more gifts over the next few days, because with mom staying up so late they did not have much time to work on it Ha Ha Ha Ha...

They also said that Elvin's little brother had been begging to come visit our house, so they asked Santa if it would be ok for him to come this year, Santa said he thought it would be a great idea to let, Marley help keep watch over the advent calendar, each day his job is to move to the right number to help us count down to Christmas.  Hopefully he does not cause any trouble while he is here!

Marley Jingles

Eliana brought Trixie to school today for show and tell, While the kids were at school and mom was off running erands all morning, Elvin, Skeeter and Marley gathered a few more gifts for in the advent calendar.

And Skeeter gathered supplies for some little Elf Kiss treats the kids could deliver to their friends when this freezing cold windy stops blowing and they can get out and Jingle them!
