Day 6Our Elf Crew wrote out a long riddle for the kids to find in the morning to send us out on a day of adventourus FUN!!
We are first going to a Candy-Cane Scavanger Hunt, then to Lowes to build wooden Gingerbread houses, and maybe to home depot to build little wooden wagons, then home to make our yearly gingerbread houses.
*CLUE 1*
*Hello and good morning, we’re so glad you’re awake
We waited and waited not sure how much more we could take!
Go find something festive, perhaps green or red
Pants on the bottom a hat on your head.
Next grab your coat and head for the door
There’s tons to be done, so much fun to explore.
Jump in the car buckle up tight
Head up to Washington and then take a right
Drive a few blocks to afavorite place
To the community center but hurry there’s a race.
Go get directions there is something to be found
Search high and low look all around
Incase you were wondering we’ll give you a clue
They come in all colors sometimes even blue
But the very best one goes with out being said
Our favorite treat, it’s white and its red
When the search is all over and you are all done
Hurry back to the car there is still more fun
9:45 get buckled again,
There’s someplace to be, you must get there by ten
Look for your next clue, somewhere in the car
It should be pretty easy you won’t need to look far.*

*You found it You found it it’s clue number two
Turn on the GPS she’ll know just what to do
She’ll know just where to bring you follow where she goes
But incase she gets lost, your going to Lowes
You might need a hammer once you arrive
To make something special how we love Christmas time.

Today what you’ll make is usually gingerbread
Quick build your project and remember your manners
If you cannot yet tell, we’ve been busy planners
There’s still more fun to be had, no time to be sad

Once finished when they wen't to recieve their builders certificate and patch, the Lowe's Instructor gave them their next clue from the elves....

*Go hit the highway , you won’t have to drive far
Before you know it you’ll know right where you are
It’s time for more building, wonder what you might make
Do a good job for goodness sake
Quite the adventures we have all in store?
What’s that you say? You STILL want more?
Back to your car seats, buckle up tight
Theres more fun to be had before it turns night.*
Back at home they found the next clue hanging on our door...

*In through the door head straight to the kitchen
The table is ready, remember NO LICKING
